Vernon is a 2.5 year old neutered male.
He is 20” from his shoulders to the ground and weighs 41 lbs.
Vernon loves people so much! We call him wigglebutt because he bends in half with excitement at anyone he sees! When not preoccupied with toys, he can be quite affectionate and loves to give kisses.
Vernon is a classic border collie. He loves to play and herd, and will gladly fetch his ball all day if you’d let him. He also really loves when you get a little rambunctious and jump around or play tug of war with him.
He also knows many tricks, including sit pretty, kiss, hug, watch, roll over, and “find [insert toy here]”.
My favorite thing about Vernon: he understands when you’re helping him! Whether it’s pulling a tick off of him or plucking a foxtail out of his paw, simply tell him you’re helping him, and he will let you do whatever you need. When you’re done, he’ll thank you with lots of kisses.
His dislikes include skateboards, motorcycles, and some puppies. But he gets along with most dogs. While his exposure to farm animals is limited, he shows great potential growth in this area. Overall, he is very receptive and eager to learn.
Vernon is living in Los Osos, CA (San Luis Obispo County, California)
