This beautiful Border Collie is ready to find her perfect match! Uma has a sleek black coat with charming patches of white on her nose and chest—and her inquisitive eyes always seem to be asking what adventure comes next.
Uma is a smart, well-mannered girl who’s already mastered the basics. She’s crate trained, housebroken, and knows commands like sit, stay, and down. She walks nicely on leash and takes treats with the gentlest touch.
In our shelter playgroups, Uma enjoys the company of other dogs who have a more gentle and dainty play style. She does best with calm canine friends who respect her space. Uma can be protective of areas she considers hers, so she’ll thrive in a home that understands her need for clear boundaries.
While Uma wasn’t the biggest fan of the young kids in her previous home, she truly shines with adults and in a calm, structured environment. She’s ready to bond with someone who appreciates her loyal, intelligent nature and gives her the guidance and love she deserves.
