IN MEMORY OF SMOKEY
2008 - 2024

A note from Smokey's owners:
When we first got Smokey he was obsessed with tennis balls and wheels. Wheels on a suitcase, garbage can, or UPS truck. The truck part was worrisome. He would chase anything from a tiny beetle to an airplane flying over the backyard. His favorite thing was to chase squirrels. He went almost everywhere with us; had many adventures, to digging at the beach at the Pacific Ocean, wading in streams, swimming in Lake Alpine fetching sticks, romping in the snow. He loved peanut butter, carrots, broccoli, chicken. In his later years he went deaf, and had arthritis, and recently had to wear a diaper. He lived so long, we got him when my son was in 6th grade and he’s now a grown adult. He will be missed.
