Mort is a 2 1/2 year old blue merle neutered male. He is 22" from his shoulder to the floor and weighs 56 pounds.
Mort is handsome, friendly, and outgoing blue merle (gray / silver / white / black) purebred male border collie that loves the company of other dogs and people who is willing to spend time playing with him. Mort is 2 years old, and he is adventurous, affectionate, athletic, clever, confident, curious, enthusiastic, and highly food-motivated. He is gentle and playful with adults and gentle young children.
Mort loves to eat, go on a walk, play fetch and tug of war. He walks well with on leash, knows the commands "sit", "down", "shake" (paws), and "stay", Please get in touch if you are interested in giving Mort a forever home with lots of love and room to play.
Mort is living in Castro Valley.
Note: Mort has been diagnosis with EPI (Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency), which means he isn't able to properly digest his food without supplement of pancreatic digestive enzyme and Vitamin B12 every meal. The condition is manageable but there are no cures and dietary supplement/medication is required for life.
