MABEL IS AN 8 MONTH OLD SPAYED FEMALE.
Personality: Mabel is a border/heeler mix with the tallest ears and the biggest brown eyes!
She will be 8 months old on July 24th. She is incredibly sweet with people — falling in love with every new human she meets, loves other doggos, and is eager to learn. She is quick to learn commands, and already knows “sit, stay, relax, walk, paw, drop it, off, and spin” — she's amazing. She loves to dig, play tug, and chew chew chew. And, if you have cheese, you are her new favorite person.
Though Mabel is a sweet girl 90% of the time, she does have some tendencies that require an experienced owner. Mabel can be quite anxious/reactive. While on a leash, she will jump up and bite when she is frustrated or in need of food, water, bathroom break.
Mabel is genuinely a good girl. We know this, but she does need a human that is well-equipped to handle her anxiety and reactivity.
We want more than anything to find a caring home for Mabel. She deserves the world.
