Connor is a 5 year old neutered male. He is 24" from his shoulders to the ground and weighs 34.90 pounds.
Connor is a handsome purebred border collie and an absolute sweetheart and very well behaved. Walks calm and quiet on a leash, knows sit, down, come, and is crate trained. He is not a super high energy border collie actually--he's anxious and stressed about certain triggers but also can be a couch potato and is not the biggest fan of exercise (we've tried hikes and runs to burn off his anxiety but he's slow and reluctant after the first few minutes). He gets along well with other dogs, though is not very interested in playing. He mostly ignores our livestock guardian dog and indoor small breed dogs. He doesn't chase or have a prey drive around cats but when he's in one of his states he will try to herd them.
He is wary around men but warms up eventually, and is a cuddle bug with women. He has NEVER offered to bite and has great manners in the house and on leash. He likes classical music, short leash walks, treats, and cuddly couch time. He STRONGLY dislikes gunshots, high-pitched/whistle sounds (including certain birds), ceiling fans, and thunderstorms. I think he'd thrive best in a single pet home with an attentive, active, and patient owner.
Connor is living in North Fork, CA (Madera County)
