BOWIE IS A 3 1/2 YEAR OLD NEUTERED MALE. He is 22" from his shoulders to the ground and weighs 54 pounds.
Bowie is an extremely sweet, loving and exuberant dog. He lives life to the fullest and you will never doubt how much he loves you. Not to mention how handsome he is! His two different color eyes get him lots of attention and highlight his goofy personality. He is driven and will work for toys, treats or praise. Bowie is always down for a long walk, hike or just to cuddle on the couch.
Bowie goes to a boarder with lots of other dogs and does fine there, although can sometimes annoy dogs with his requests to play. He gets along great with my bossy 15 lb corgi mix. Out and about, Bowie does not like being approached by strange dogs and will bark at dogs to go away if they get nose to nose with him. Not a dog park dog.
Bowie is very friendly with people he knows, and does well with introductions outside the house before moving inside. He lives in a very dense urban environment and is non-reactive to bikes, skateboards, people, garbage trucks, fireworks, etc.
Bowie does not like to be pet by strangers, and will back away if someone reaches towards him.
He cannot live with children. The reason he needs a new home is that he cannot safely live with my infant daughter.
Bowie was very easy and fun to live with before our baby was born. Happy to answer any questions about him!
