Meet Cowgirl! She’s a top shelf Border Collie, with all that that implies: athletic, driven, focused…not “hyper”!
Loves to run, loves to fetch, but more than anything? LOVES her person. Very, very affectionate and demonstrative. She doesn’t jump up-but sits at your side and licks your hand. Highly praise- motivated, Cowgirl could be trained to work sheep, or be a companion/family dog, and much more. What she’d be poorly suited for is the pet that is left home alone for huge chunks of the day. She travels well and is well-mannered, does very well in a crate, completely house-trained. She has basic commands, started ‘clicker’ training and complies without hesitation. Everything she does, she does happily. Foster can provide video of her in action. She did kill a chicken, so no cats.
Border Collie experience would be ideal, or someone that would like to place her fairly central in their lives. A feature of this breed is that they are exceptionally great dogs, but their requirements are higher than average.
Cowgirl is just over 50 pounds, a year and a half old and spayed. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to meet her!
